Charlie and I were pretty good friends our senior year at HHS. He had the greatest capacity for sincerity and humor tied together is a great wit. He always seemed so open to honest discussions and would try to figure out solutions to help everyone. I don't think I ever knew anyone with a more positive attitude. For years I wondered what he was up to and was quite saddened when learning of his passing. It doesn't seem fair when the good guys go first.
