I was so saddened to learn of Charlotte's passing. I knew her all the way back in gradeschool at Brookline. In those early years, we often played together near Kathmere Road where she lived at the time. (I remember John Loper lived just down the block from her) What's more, she was my very first girlfriend then in fifth grade but she never knew it. How shy we were at that age. But one never forgets such firsts. I was always impressed how smart she was, especially in math with Mr. Oberholser. We never crossed paths in high school at HHS. It is with sincere feeling that I wish the best for her family. She will be missed by many.
