What an absolute shock to turn on the computer only to find a reference to the passing of Marlyn.  It brought about an instant recollection of when Billy Estberg and I sat in his living room on Gilmore Road and tried desperately to work up enough courage to call her on the phone.  Like so many others, Bill and I, apparently, had a youthful crush on Marlyn way back then.  We made the call and Marlyn, in her usual pleasantness, chatted with us for more time than we anticipated.

My deepest sympathies to her husband Bud and their three children Dan, Steven and Beth as well as her extended family.  Rest in Peace, Marlyn, it was a pleasure sharing the rest of our class with you.

I thought I was the only one who both had a crush on Marilyn Pacenza and who was terrified of ever asking her out. I was shocked to learn today of her passing.
