Ed was my best friend at Haverford. He helped a new kid in the school adapt and feel welcome. He went to Penn and majored in chemical engineering. Visited him a couple times at his Penn frat house when I was home from Kalamazoo College (in the midwest). I know he (like many of us) had to do military duty upon college graduation. He was a navigator on 2-man Navy jets, stationed in Pensacola. I heard he did a number of flights over North Vietnam. After service I think he worked for several firms around Philly suburbs in engineering.
I left Philly in 1970 and regret that I didn't stay in contact with him in later years. He passed away in July 2012 in West Chester.
