If it had not been for this website, I probably would not have known about Betty Jane's death on May 2, 2023. I knew she and Jack had moved to Media for assisted living. Many years ago, I had been at her Havertown home  talking about HHS class of 1962's reunion with her friend Sharon and others! I can still remember the laughter! This is a job she handled for years. She was a beautiful and kind woman who was loved by many including her wonderful husband. Did you ever notice how most dental hygienists have beautiful white teeth? Of course, she did too! God bless her family. She will be missed but I am sure she is smiling down on them from heaven.

I have already posted a comment  however I just can't stop thinking about her and. I feel  that I need to add more.. Betty Jane was the type of person that you always felt happy after talking with her or seeing her. She was a very  positive person.  Also a good listening and a fun person to ben with.  I feel so very sad.

When I recently received an email from her I felt so good and was looking foreward to staying in touch with her. We had been in touch off and on  and I always enjoyed her company and wish I had kept up our relationship.  I had become a slave to my job and worked right up til I retired at 71 and left for    Czeck Republic.,  Funny thing about that aas that Jack and Betty Jack had come here for their Anniversary.

I am going to try to get in touch with Jack and see how he is doing.  Such a long marriage and relationship..that was wonderful.  Hope to see you soo Betty Jane!!!

Yes, Betty Jane has been on my mind since I heard of her death. She was a positive person her entire life I imagine. She was that way in high school and the few times I saw her at reunions. I'm glad I saw her at the reunion luncheon and was going to stop to see her soon. I'm sorry the time passed before we could meet. She will be missed by many people especially the ones who worked tirelessly with her for the benefit of our class.

I was devastated when Carin called me to share the news of BJ's passing from a sudden brain bleed. It happened quickly and she didn't suffer. We were extremely close throughout our lives sharing many  experiences. She was sweet, kind, funny, intelligent, and very much loved by her family and friends. What a package she was.  I've been in touch with Jack and he is doing well with the love of their daughters Carin and Leslie and grandchildren. Coming home from Florida every summer will now never be the same without her. Rest in peace my dear friend.
