Knew both Jim and John well and worked at Ben's Pharmacy next door to their Dad's paint store in Llanerch so I knew Commisioner Richardson as well.  My condolences to you Jim for the loss of your brother and to John's family.  God Bless and May Your Memories and the Grace of Time Ease Your Pain!

John and the whole Richardson famly were a great part of my growing up and high school experience. Though I have not keep in contact the many found memories are with me more frequently as time goes by. There is continuity in the service being held at St. James the church we all renovated from a barn.

My best thoughts and prayers go to the famly. Know that John lives on in all of us.

I was very sorry to hear about John's passing.  I first met John and Jim in kindergarten at St. James Church.  I think it was 1949. We hit it off right away.  John was my friend all the way through elementary school, junior high and high school so even though we didn't communicate after that he was a very real part of my growing up.  My favorite memory was one Valentine's Day at Brookline Elementary we exchanged cards.  He gave me one that had a big pea pod picture on the front and read, "We're like two peas in a pod, Podner."  I never forgot that and still use the saying, "like two peas in a pod" rather frequently on account of that.  My thoughts are with you, Jim.

My deepest sympathies to Jim and John's families. The Richardson twins, as they were often referred to during our time at Haverford, were two of the finest individuals I had the pleasure of knowing, and I was proud to call them my classmates and friends. There were always fun times and interesting conversations when John and or Jim were around. May the Richardson family stay strong and may God bless them all. Rest in peace John.

So sorry to learn of John's death.  I had such a crush on him in 9th grade.  My heart goes out to his family.
