Suzanne was a great asset to our Mackey Trio singing group, and I am saddened not only by her early demise but also by her not being able to get to our 50th reunion, which she dearly hoped to attend. Fond memories abound, the best including summers singing at Steel Pier and all the performances that Howard Mackey got the Trio involved with. Suzanne and Karen mastered quite difficult harmonies by our later teens as we tried ever more difficult material, and the tonal quality of Suzanne's voice added depth to our blend. We sure had fun together, and I'll miss her sunny disposition.
